What Signatura is

Signatura is an electronic-signature platform for sending, signing, and sealing documents online. You upload a PDF, DOCX, or image, place the fields, and send it to as many signers as you need — sequentially or in parallel. Every completed document is sealed with a SHA-256 hash and a full audit trail recording who signed, when, and from where.

It runs in any browser, in seven languages, and signers never need an account or a paid seat. One plan includes everything — AI-assisted field placement, custom branding, reusable templates, team controls — priced per seat, with the rate falling as your team grows.

Why I built it

I didn’t set out to build an e-signature company. I’m a business owner with several different signing needs, and what I wanted was one tool that handled all of them — without running two products side by side because each had something the other was missing, without discovering the real limits after signing up, and without counting how many documents I had left in the month.

That tool didn’t exist, so I built it. Signatura is one plan with everything in it and no cap on how much you send. The pricing works the same way — a single per-seat rate that falls as you add seats, published on the page instead of behind a sales call, with a calculator that shows what your team costs before you hand over a card.

The rest came down to how it feels to use. I focused on ease of use and speed — for the person preparing and filling out the document as much as for the person signing it. Neither should need instructions, and it should work as well on a phone as it does on a desktop.

Who’s behind it

Signatura is built and operated by Austrat Trading Corp., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, with Silas Allan as founder. We run the platform end to end — product, infrastructure, and support — and we publish what a customer should be able to check before signing up: our security posture, our sub-processors, our data-processing terms, and our accessibility conformance.

How we build

A handful of choices we made deliberately — each one you can check yourself:

• No tracking. We set no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies anywhere on this site or in the app, so there is no consent banner to dismiss. Open your browser’s developer tools and look. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal.
• Any signed document, verifiable by anyone. Completed documents carry a SHA-256 integrity hash. Anyone holding the file — not just the sender — can confirm that not one byte has changed, without an account: app.getsignatura.com/verify
• Authorization enforced in the database. Every table runs row-level security, so who may read a document is decided by Postgres itself rather than by whichever screen happens to be asking.
• The whole product translated, not just the marketing. App, signing pages, emails, and notifications in seven languages, with each recipient’s language chosen individually. Non-English translations are machine-generated from English, and we label them as such on every page rather than passing them off as human work.
• Every sub-processor published. Each third party that touches your data is listed by name, purpose, and region — before you sign up, not after you ask: getsignatura.com/sub-processors
• Accessibility measured, not assumed. We publish a WCAG 2.1 AA conformance statement based on automated testing plus manual keyboard and screen-reader review, and it says where we still fall short: getsignatura.com/accessibility

Scope and limitations

Where the platform stops today, stated plainly so you can evaluate it against your own requirements:

• Simple Electronic Signatures only. Signatura produces SES under eIDAS, admissible under Article 25(1) in all 27 EU member states, and meets ESIGN and UETA requirements in the US. We do not offer Advanced (AdES) or Qualified (QES) signatures, which member-state law requires for some high-value transactions such as real-estate transfers and certain formal filings.
• No SOC 2 report. We follow SOC 2-aligned operational practices but have not engaged a CPA auditor for a formal report. We would rather say so than let a badge imply otherwise.
• United States hosting only. Documents are stored in the United States. There is no EU-region hosting option yet. getsignatura.com/security
• Mobile apps not published yet. The iPhone and Android apps are still in progress. Until they ship, the web app works in any mobile browser.
